Last week, when I was catching up on Event Magazine’s website after a Christmas break, I stumbled upon this article about how BEcause have set up a Graduate Talent Scheme for 2014. I know how hard it is to find graduate schemes that fit within the events industry and when I found out about this opportunity I knew I had to share it!

WHO ARE BECAUSE?
BEcause are a global brand experience agency and are offering four graduates six months paid work experience with two permanent jobs on offer at the end.
They have worked with brands such as LEGO, Yorkshire Tea, Heineken, Eurostar and Innocent Smoothies. Their experiential marketing work ranges from running roadshows to fully immersive events which are all boosted via relevant media channels.
WHAT WILL THE INTERNSHIP INVOLVE?
This is an opportunity for Event graduates to work within two separate departments of the organisation, initially spending three months within the Client Account Management Team. There the interns shall help devise, plan, manage roadshows as well as sampling campaigns and immersive events for a number of leading brands.
The second three months will consist of working within the Field Services Management Team, were the interns shall be working on coordinating and liaising with The Staff Republic, BEcause front-line team of over 1,000 brand ambassadors.
This internships will allow the graduates to receive mentoring from experienced event professionals as well as support and exposure to different aspects of the industry, and what makes this even better is the fact BEcause are splitting the applications into two phases;
Phase one; all applications have to be received by January 31st 2014, with interviews immediately afterwards and the first two internships starting in March 2014.
Phase two; applications have to be received by April 25th 2014, with interviews immediately afterwards and the final two internships starting in June 2014.
