Dream; a cherished aspiration, ambition or ideal

We all have our own dreams and aims in life and sometimes when you share these with friends & family you get the ‘oh, well you know maybe it is worth having a back-up plan’ or the ‘will that work’ comments.

Well to that I say TRY!

Because as people have always said unless you give it a try you never know. Sure thing, sometimes the dream you have maybe not be realistic – like when I was six and wanted to be a popstar but couldn’t sing anything in tune!

However as long as you are confident, are willing to work hard, have a manageable plan & are able to know when to give up then really what do you have too loose?

I am currently working on a very exciting project which many people have said I should be more realistic about. It may be something that falls flat on its face but at the end of the day I will have given it a go.

I have set myself a timeline that by which if the project hasn’t taken off then I shall pack up & move on.  A time that I know financially I can cope with and a time that allows me to really push it out there!
I may have had a few cautionary comments from family & friends who care about me and I have taken them into consideration. However I know that if I don’t at least try then I will regret it for the rest of my life and that is a feeling I cannot be doing with!
So for all of you who have dreams that people have been hesitant towards, forget about those comments & do what you think is right!
Remember they are YOUR dreams not anyone else’s!

I read a very good blog post by Truth and Cake about Embracing Uncertainty

**also apologies for the lack of blog posts & can someone tell me how it is already mid April?**
